Collaboration with Markéta IrglovÁ on song ‘MOther’
29th May 2021
From @thewebbsisters “It has been such an honour and joy to collaborate with glorious Markéta on her deeply powerful song ‘Mother’. We have such poignant memories of going to see ‘Once’ at the cinema together, back in the days we lived in Los Angeles. We came home so inspired we sat and wrote together for the rest of the day. Marketa’s voice, songs and spirit has influenced us ever since. To sing with you Mar has been a dream come true!
With much gratitude, great respect and admiration to Mar, Mio and all the #mother community of artists and creators who have collaborated on this project.”
NEW ALBUM ‘WILD MEDICINE’
Monday 22nd February 2021
Wow friends✨
I am thrilled to come to the day I can begin to share with you my new body of work, ‘Wild Medicine’!
Over the next 8 Mondays, starting tomorrow 22/2, I will be revealing songs, videos, collaborations and concepts within the album.
Making this record began on the day I walked into Patrick Leonard’s studio in Los Angeles October 2017 and it has been an incredible, rewarding, challenging, enriching and humbling journey to come to this point.
I am so grateful to the many friends and collaborators who have supported, inspired and guided me, to those who lent their gifts, their ears and wise thoughts. In due course, you will hear more about the people who have shaped this chapter and shaped me too.
Thank you for your support, your words of sustenance, kindness and love over these times. You may not know how much these mean to me, but they really do mean a lot.
Tonight, at 8pm London Greenwich Meantime, I will say more!
